Introduction Anyone visiting Lisbon must not miss Sintra, this charming village, at the gates of the capital. We start the tour with a visit to the incredible Palácio da Pena (avoiding queues), and then we will explore the historic center and taste the famous Travesseiro de Sintra. We continue our journey to the Atlantic coast with a stop for lunch on the way. In the afternoon, visit Cabo da Roca and the city of Cascais, where you can even taste the best ice cream in town at the Santini ice cream parlor. Description Departure from Lisbon at 9 am towards Sintra, visit the Palácio da Pena, located in the Sintra mountains and fruit of the creative genius of D. Fernando II, they are the greatest exponent of 19th century Romanticism in Portugal, with architectural references of Manueline influence and Moorish. This palace is located on the 2nd highest point of the Serra de Sintra and can be seen from any point in the Sintra National Park, it also contains lush gardens with more than five hundred tree species from the four corners of the world.

Stop in the center of the village and tasting the famous “Piriquita” pillows. After this sweet experience, the journey continues to Azenhas do Mar beach, a cliffside village of stunning beauty. Then stop for lunch at Adega do Coelho, in Almoçageme, a restaurant that bets on simple and quality food, in addition to food, on hot days, the terrace is a delight, located under a trellis of vines that guarantees a fresh, relaxed and familiar atmosphere.

After lunch, visit Cabo da Roca, an obligatory stopover for the magnificent view and for being the westernmost point in Europe. Continue along the road by the sea to Cascais, passing Guincho beach and Boca do Inferno. In Cascais enjoy one of the most beautiful bays in Europe, the architecture of the rich houses and palaces in the center. Walk through the city center and stop at Cascais' most famous ice cream parlor, “Santini” to try its unique flavours.

Continue to Lisbon along the coastal road, always along the Tagus. Included
