Introduction We will make a half-day visit to a winery in the wine region of Lisbon, explore the vineyards and grape varieties, learn about the process of making wine and finally we will have a commented wine tasting (2 whites and 2 reds). Description Pick up at the accommodation and continue on to the magnificent Adega Mãe, about 40 min. from Lisbon. We start the tour with a visit to the vineyards and learn a little about the different varieties that we see scattered in the hills around us and their individual characteristics. Afterwards and during the visit to the winery, we will learn about the process of making wine and all the difficulties and decisions that a winemaker has to make during this process. We will finish the tour in the incredible barrique room where most of the magic takes place. After the visit, we will taste 4 wines (2 reds and 2 whites), understand the differences between them and be inebriated with their characteristics. Included
